What You'll Learn 

This hands-on training is designed for members of the Grievance Committee and Professional Standards Committee and focuses on the knowledge and skills needed to carry out your responsibilities with confidence, consistency, and fairness. 

Participants will explore: 

The Grievance and Professional Standards panel processes 

Proper evaluation of ethics complaints and sound decision-making standards 

Applying the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice in complaint review and enforcement 

Addressing unique circumstances and determining appropriate resolutions 

Protecting due process throughout evaluations and hearings 

Developing critical thinking skills while maintaining objectivity and impartiality 

Using realistic case scenarios and guided discussion, attendees will apply Professional Standards principles to real-world situations. This highly interactive session encourages active participation, thoughtful discussion, and practical problem-solving that you can immediately put to use in your committee service. Come prepared to participate, ask questions, and sharpen the skills that help ensure a fair, consistent, and professional standards process.
